Nice outfit for yoga! Lady Gaga wore a towering pair of black platform boots for a bikram yoga session in London yesterday
She's known for her outrageous outfits and her ability to constantly surprise fans with her utterly unique sense of style.
But Lady Gaga took her desire to always be fashionable to the extreme yesterday when she arrived at a bikram yoga class wearing a pair of towering black platform boots and sunglasses.
And the heels were so high that the 24-year-old singer had to be helped into the Sohot yoga centre by a gallant minder.
Comfortable? The singer had to be helped along by her minders in the shoes
Bikram yoga involves devotees subjecting themselves to extraordinarily high temperatures in order to push their bodies as far as possible.
Balancing act: The singer appeared to be struggling in the shoes
Gaga is a huge fan of Bikram yoga, along with fellow celebrities such as Madonna and Cameron Diaz, and is often seen fitting in a quick session before going on stage.
And the regular yoga session are just one of the ways Gaga stays in shape.
According to her choreographer, Gaga sticks to a strict diet to maintain her slimline figure.
LaurieAnn Gibson told People.com recently: 'It's all about salsa with grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water.'
But in a tour rider released by the official X Factor magazine X, Gaga is also said to be partial to roast chicken, chocolate-covered almonds as well as 'non-smelly, non-sweaty cheese'.
After her yoga session, Gaga returned to her hotel before getting changed into an unusual white dress, reminiscent of a nurse's uniform, and her favourite black boots to head over to Abbey Road Studios for a recording session.
Quick change: Gaga later changed into a white sheer dress as she went for a recording session at Abbey Road Studios
While it is not clear exactly what Gaga was recording, it is believed that her second studio album Born This Way is finished.
The singer revealed earlier this year that she found writing the record a very quick process.
She said: 'It came so quickly. I've been working on it for months, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. Some artists take years. I don't. I write music every day.'
As well as touring Europe in recent months, Gaga has also found time to record a duet with Sir Elton John.
The track, called Hello Hello, will feature in a new Disney film Gnomeo and Juliet.
